Save Our Seat — The Live Workshop
The timing secret to stop bouncing — now taught live.
How do you ask your horse to pick up the canter? To come back to a walk without falling on the forehand? To keep walking without kicking them every stride? If your honest answer is "I'm not totally sure — I just kind of do it," you're not doing anything wrong. You were never taught the how. Almost no one was.
You know the feeling: the transition that comes up rushed. The sitting trot you bounce through. The horse who nails it on Tuesday and blanks on Thursday. You've been told to "sit deep," "use your seat," "find the feel" — and left to guess what any of that even means.
It doesn't have to stay a mystery.
Your horse already moves in a patterned timing — a beat you can learn to connect and move with. When your timing matches theirs, the bouncing stops, the transitions smooth out, and your horse does what you ask because, finally, you're both speaking the same language.
That's what this series teaches. The actual timing — step by step, in plain language, so you can learn it and do it yourself.
Over twelve weeks, an intimate group of riders — just ten at a time — learns this timing together, one piece at a time. Every session, you'll try it yourself and leave with something you can practice that week. And because there are only ten of us, there's room for real back-and-forth: you show me how you ride now, and we build from there.
Miss a week? Every session is recorded, so you'll never fall behind.
In this series, you'll learn to:
Communicate with your horse through your seat, in addition to your hands and legs
Move in time with the horse in the walk, trot, and canter without bouncing or bracing
Ask for transitions that stay balanced instead of rushed
Understand your horse’s feedback — and respond confidently
This is for riders who love riding and want to truly understand it. No show ring required. No pressure. Just the missing piece, taught plainly, by someone who spent thirty-five years looking for it — and finally found it.
Ten seats. First cohort begins Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
Twelve weekly sessions, 7:00 PM. Founding price $1,500 — enrollment closes Sunday, August 10, or when the ten seats fill.
Already have the book? You're exactly who this was created for.
By November, you'll have learned how to sit the trot without bouncing, ask for a canter lead on purpose, and read what your horse is telling you — instead of guessing.
Stop bouncing. Start speaking your horse's language.
This is the live, 12-week Save Our Seat workshop — where you finally learn the timing traditional instruction skips. Over twelve weekly sessions on Zoom, in a small group, you'll learn to time your seat to your horse's beats, join the movement instead of bracing against it, and turn every transition into a conversation your horse understands.
What's included:
Twelve live, interactive sessions (Tuesdays, 7:00 PM ET)
Personal video diagnosis — film your own riding, and we work through it together, live
Lifetime access to every session recording
Founding-cohort price of $1,500 (enrollment moves to $1,800 after this cohort)
Just ten riders. First cohort begins Tuesday, August 18. Enrollment closes when the ten seats fill.
